We are always looking for more sponsors to help us with funding. Running an ice hockey team costs a lot of money -
just some of the financial burdens we face are:
- Ice rental. One hour on the ice costs the team 200 euro. We pay this weekly for training, and pay half of this
for a match.
- Team jerseys. We have barely enough home jerseys to cover the whole team, and we have no away jerseys. The cost
of having a jersey made with a name & number can be in the region of 70 to 80 euro.
- Player equipment. An outfield player's gear can cost several hundred euro, with skates alone being over 100. A
goalkeeper's gear costs between 2000 and 3000 euro. Currently we have only one full set of goalkeeper gear.
As the players currently foot all of these bills themselves, the team is extremely grateful for any
contributions we receive.
What we offer sponsors
- Advertising space on our team jerseys. Jerseys are worn one to four times a month for matches in Dundalk and
Belfast. Jerseys are also displayed on trips abroad to Poland and next year, Canada.
- Advertising space on our website. We have a large number of areas on our website in which to place
advertising banners and logos. Click here to view some possible areas. We can add a banner to just one page,
or to every page on the site. We can also give sponsors an area on this page to display more details about
themselves or more links to their affiliated sites.
